It seems like a million years ago now, but back in March I decided to do the #VeronicaLettersChallenge on Instagram.

Veronica is a hand lettering artist I greatly admire and have learned a lot from, so when she was hosting a challenge about my favorite game I had to participate. You can find here @veronicaletters. Her style was the influence for my Tokyo Disneyland sketchbook, which you can see more of on my instagram.

For the challenge, I completed four hand lettering prompts. I initially sketched them out in the procreate app on my iPad using composition guides, which I would trace onto watercolor paper and finish with my tombow dual brush pens.

If you want to learn how to do these watercolor techniques yourself, you can watch the playlist below.
If you’re also a fan of animal crossing, or just want to color in some fun hand lettering, you can download all four coloring sheets here! Print them out, paint or color them, and share your photos on instagram. Tag me @hayleyraedesigns to be featured in my stories. I can’t wait to see your masterpiece!
